テーブルマナー@仙台ロイヤルパークホテル “Table Manners” Event @ Sendai Royal Park Hotel
ちょっと緊張してテーブルマナー
6月1日(火曜日)に仙台ロイヤルパークホテルにてテーブルマナーが行われました。
ホテル科と国際おもてなし科の1年生が、ホテルでよくみられる格式高いイベントにおいて知らなければならないエチケットをホテルのスタッフから教えていただきました。
Last June 1st (Tuesday), our yearly “Table Manners” Event was held at Sendai Royal Park Hotel.
In this event, the students were able to learn about proper etiquette in formal dining which is usually held in hotels. The event was led by one of the hotel staff who kindly taught the students these skills.
グラスの持ち方、シルバーウェアの正しい使い方から食事後のナプキンの置き方まで色々なことが勉強できました。
Our 1st years were able to learn numerous things, from properly holding a glass and use of silverwares to putting a napkin after the meal.
サービスに関するやり方やコツなども、もちろん!
And of course, they were also gracious enough to teach them techniques and tips in serving meals!
今年入社したYMCA卒業生から
最後に二人の先輩からの挨拶や励まし言葉を聞いて、将来の仕事にワクワクしてきました。
Lastly, two of our seniors gave warm messages to the current students. Upon hearing and seeing their seniors, the students became excited about their future work.

ホテル見学
テーブルマナーのほか、ホテル見学も行われました。仙台ロイヤルパークホテルについてだけでなく、ホテルはどの業界なのか、どのような施設があるかのも知りました。
Aside from the part where we learned about table manners, we were also given a tour of the hotel. Here, we were able to study not just about Sendai Royal Park Hotel, but also see what kind of jobs are in a hotel, as well as the different facilities in it.
